YC4D Gas G-drive — Product Description

  • 1. High reliability: Block, crankshaft, connecting rod, bearing bush and gear train are the same architecture as diesel engines for proven durability. In addition, gas-engine combustion/explosion pressure is 20–30% lower than diesel, providing a large reliability margin.
  • 2. High efficiency & environmental friendliness: Lower carbon emissions versus diesel at the same power; almost zero PM and sulfide emissions. HC, CO and NOx meet China II marine emission regulations.
  • 3. Complete safety design: Crankcase explosion-proof valve keeps crankcase pressure in a safe range. Exhaust temperature monitoring protects the engine. Water-cooled exhaust pipe reduces thermal radiation and compartment temperature for easier accessibility.
  • 4. Advanced combustion control: Turbocharged & intercooled lean-burn with electronic turbo control for accurate boost and quick response. Closed-loop oxygen-sensor A/F control for consistent performance. High-energy ignition for faster combustion and better economy.
