  • 1. Efficient combustion & response: 4-valve architecture with centrally positioned direct-actuated injector and new fuel-mixing technology delivers high intake efficiency, fine atomization, and excellent transient load response. Operating efficiency is improved by 12%.
  • 2. Strong torque reserve: Maximum torque reaches 1000 N·m with a 36% torque reserve—over 20% higher than comparable products.
  • 3. Low fuel consumption: Balanced for both power and cost in typical duty cycles; minimum specific fuel consumption is 192 g/kW·h.
  • 4. Robust environmental adaptability: With a combustion-pressure design up to 180 bar, adaptability is ~7% higher than peers; cold-start temperature reaches −15 °C without an auxiliary air-intake device.
  • 5. Compact, light, and quiet: Frame-type high-strength alloy block, one-piece cylinder head, and rear cover yield a compact, lightweight, reliable structure. Noise level is about 3 dB(A) lower than similar engines.
  • 6. Long service intervals: Built to Volkswagen-grade SPS production standards; average overhaul/maintenance interval is about 15,000 hours, ~50% longer than typical products.
