E Series Marine Diesel Engine
- 1. Robust high-pressure design: Designed for maximum explosion pressure of 190 bar, featuring four valves per cylinder, overhead camshaft, high-strength block with bearing plates, and rear gear train layout.
- 2. High product quality & consistency: Ensured by MAG’s automated production lines with MES control and Volkswagen’s engine quality management system.
- 3. Long service life: Mechanical parts service life (B10) exceeds 15,000 hours. Test-bench reliability surpasses 20,000 hours, while customer verification exceeds 10,000 hours, demonstrating high durability.
- 4. Easy maintenance: Single overhead camshaft with roller rocker arms doubles valve adjustment intervals. Centrifugal oil filtration and multi-stage oil/fuel filtration extend filter replacement intervals up to 500 hours.
- 5. Strong environmental adaptability: Operates reliably at 50 °C ambient temperature. Cold start temperature reaches −15 °C without intake heater. Equipped with water-cooled exhaust pipe, double-walled fuel pipes, and leakage alarm system for higher safety.
